Today I’ll be reviewing a new product I bought a few days ago; the Makeup Revolution London Ultra Blush Palette in ‘Sugar & Spice’.
The packaging is pretty basic. It feels quite cheap. But for a drugstore palette, it could be worse. The casing is all black with gold writing on the lid, and on the back a stuck on list of ingredients etc. Inside you have a good sized mirror along with 8 pans of product.
As you can see, the first two shades on the top row could pass as contour shades. Shade 4 on the top row is most definitely a highlight. Shade 8 (the last shade on the bottom row) is a baked blush. As for the rest, they are blushes ranging from a deeper red to coral.
Top Row (L-R)
Bottom Row (L-R)
The pigmentation of the whole palette is amazing. However this means when applying product, you need a lighter hand.
This palette is just £6 from Superdrug and I’ve heard that Makeup Revolution is being introduced into stores in the US and Makeup Revolution is absolutely carried in New Zealand. However they ship internationally for orders from the Makeup Revolution website.
Overall I would give this palette a 4.5 / 5 as it is amazing for a drugstore palette and the packaging is quite professional for the price.
If I don’t blog before then, have a wonderful and Merry Christmas!
